We do our best to safeguard your privacy. We handle your personal data and medical data with care, and ensure that unauthorized persons do not have access to your data.
personal file
The file contains data that is necessary for the therapy. Such as information about your complaint, background, health, any diagnoses and treatments, and progress of the treatment. Possibly also information that I have requested from another healthcare provider, after your explicit consent, for example from your general practitioner.
We do our best to safeguard your privacy. This means, among other things, that we:
- handle your personal and medical data with care
- ensure that unauthorized persons do not have access to your data
As your treating therapist, I am the only one with access to the data in your file. I have a legal duty of confidentiality (professional secrecy).
The data from your file can also be used for the following purposes:
- To inform other healthcare providers, for example if the therapy has been completed or in the case of a referral to another practitioner. This only happens with your explicit consent.
- For the substitute colleague during my absence, should this be necessary.
- For anonymized use during peer review (intercollegial assessment).
- A few details from your file are used for the financial administration, so that I can draw up an invoice.
If I wish to use your data for any other reason, I will inform you first and explicitly ask for your consent.
This data in the client file is kept, as required by the law on the treatment agreement, for 15 years, unless, after termination of the therapy, you want otherwise and wish to have the file destroyed.

- Your name, address and place of residence
- your date of birth
- the date of the treatment/session
- a brief description of the treatment, including the performance code as established by health insurers
- the cost of the session.
